Well here we are huh? This track is about how you find a connection with someone only to see them leave your path...sometimes forever. it's funny how we find a person that makes us so happy yet we don't express our true feelings and before you know it, you drift apart. That's why the chorus goes, "Here we are, here we go, yeah I thought we touched souls, but I lost touch with ya so I really don't know..." The point is, sometimes we think we connect with someone who could enchant our lives forever but before you know it they're gone and you're left wondering what could have been.
